I would go out tonight, but I haven’t got a stitch to wear. #CrucialTracks

An Eleventy port of an image-led gallery, a longform archive, and a short-form stream.

Am I out of my mind thinking Sesame has some of the better non-specialty donuts around? My local one makes great raspberry jelly, glaze, cinnamon, and devil’s glaze.
My younger brother Brad (left) passed away 5 years ago today. This photo was taken in 2014, shortly after his brain tumor diagnosis. We were blowing off a little steam following an appointment at the VA in Ann Arbor. Less than 2 years apart in age, we shared a lot. I wish we could’ve had more time.

Hadn’t heard of them, but saw they are playing with Deep Sea Diver this summer at Grand Lodge. The new Edgefield of the west side?

Still deciding if I want to live dangerously and go to Cornell Farms during my break and pick up some new plants. My budget is telling me no, but my adhd…my ocd…is telling me 🙌

Takes me back to those post–high school, angsty, not-sure-what-I’m-doing-with-my-life days.
My name is Driftwood.

🎥 As expected. Good as a weeknight something that doesn’t take much Intellectual energy. Priyanka Chopra plays kind of a fun character — a former pirate. Well shot.
Created (with assistance from Codex) a personal check-in app like Swarm/Foursquare that uses my ATproto PDS to save data for a stream on my personal website.
The morning routine of making all the red dots go away has again become mentally draining and distracting. Every time I buy something, sign in somewhere, or try something new, I’m added to someone’s marketing emails or newsletter. Time to prune the apps, unsubscribe, etc.

Not sure. I read the docs and I’m still confused. My fediverse account is also on urbanists.social but I’m enjoying all the flexibility of a PDS and what’s happening with standard.site. I’m basically feeding my personal blog PDS data at this point.
Recently I learned of this highly regarded boutique amp builder in my area. Point to point hand-wired Fender circuits. Very cool stuff. The owner Jim is currently doing some mods on my 68 Custom Deluxe Reverb. Can’t wait to get it back. Yorke Electric Sound
Gem conventions are not really my scene, but I do like geology and natural history. Some of these crystals carry stories from deep time. Others will make new ones.
Every year I start out thinking I planted way too many tomatoes from seed. A month later I'm glad I did because I've managed to kill at least half of them.
Maybe an unpopular opinion, but once someone reaches a certain level of success and wealth, constantly leaning on the “I grew up with nothing and had it hard for a year” story feels a little unnecessary.

I wired up saving long form posts with standard.site lexicons directly from an iOS app I'm working on. That way I don't have to mess with image uploads, static builds, etc. my @ghost.org blog at lowvelocity.org is actually showing up in the @leaflet.pub and @pckt.blog feeds. Not perfect, but works.
